Ty VanHorn is the lead pastor at Cornerstone. He is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary and Toccoa Falls College. He became a Christian when he was twenty years old and had a radical conversion from a life of addiction and emptiness. "Jesus Christ has changed my life in such a meaningful and signifcant way. It all made sense and filled that hole in my soul that I knew I had." Lisa, Ty's wife, was instrumental in being a faithful witness in Ty's life. She is the daughter of an Alliance pastor, James Armstrong, and a graduate of Calvin College. Together they make a great team leading Cornerstone as God directs.

Jesus Christ can change your life. I am a man with experience and not a theory. I never thought I could be a good husband or father because of the brokenness in my own upbringing. But God has so transformed me that today I am married to the love of my life and together we have the blessing of raising six beautiful children. My life is more than what I ever thought it would be. And the change came the moment I asked Jesus to be my Lord and the Savior of my soul.

Kevin

Kevin Lines is the associate pastor here at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. Kevin holds two undergraduate degrees - one from Calvary Chapel Bible College and one from Global University. He received his MA degree in philosophy from Loyola Marymount University of Los Angeles and is currently completing his doctorate degree from Claremont Graduate University. He comes to CSCF with experience both as a youth pastor (3 years) and as a missionary (2 years). Kevin came to know Lord at the age of 20 when God pulled him, too, out a life of addiction and emptiness. “God spoke into my life and showed me that no amount of material or worldly success would satisfy the emptiness and longing for peace and acceptance in my heart.”
My wife of 4 years, Grace, joins me in ministry. She works as registered lead nurse in the nursery and mother/baby unit at local hospital. I am so thankful that God has brought her into my life. I admire her love, compassion, patience, courage, and strength. Desiring to be a godly husband is a driving force in the way I live my life. We both feel like God has called us to Cornerstone and are excited to be part of the Fellowship and leadership team.

Finding a community of faith is an important and sometimes difficult task. We want to help you find the place where you fit, where you grow and where you can serve. We want to be that place for those who choose to join us.
We're in this together - striving to learn what God's word has to say to us today and living to be examples of Jesus Christ to the community around us.
